Privacy Policy

Dewé ("we", "us") operates the Dewé platform at dewethebrand.com, connecting brands with creators for content collaborations. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what rights you have. It applies to brands, creators, and account managers using the platform.

1. What we collect

• Account details: name, email address, password (stored securely, never in plain text), and role (brand, creator, or admin).
• Profile information: niches, bio, profile photo, and — for brands — company name and logo.
• Campaign data: briefs, deliverables, uploaded content files, and messages exchanged through the platform.
• Performance data creators choose to report: views, likes, comments, shares, and discount-code usage, along with any screenshot submitted as proof.
• Financial data relevant to running campaigns, such as agreed fees.
• Technical data: device/browser information, and — if you enable them — push notification subscription details, used only to deliver notifications you asked for.

2. Why we collect it

We use this data to:

• Provide the core service — matching brands and creators, running campaigns, and tracking real results.
• Send transactional emails and notifications about your account and campaigns.
• Keep the platform secure and prevent misuse.
• Improve the product based on how it's actually used.

We do not sell your personal data, and we never fabricate or estimate performance numbers on your behalf — every number shown on Dewé is either self-reported by a creator or entered directly by us.

3. Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run Dewé:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Stripe — processing campaign fee payments. We never see or store your full card details.
• Apple/Google push notification services — delivering push notifications you've opted into.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security commitments. We don't share your data with anyone else unless required by law.

4. How long we keep it

We keep account and campaign data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time (see section 6).

5. Cookies

We use only the essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember your session. We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Export your data in a portable format.
• Object to certain processing, and withdraw consent (e.g. for push notifications) at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@dewethebrand.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections, access controls, and secure password storage. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and act quickly on any issue.
